The Benefits of Annual Boiler Servicing
Prevent major issues and breakdowns
Regular servicing can help identify and address minor issues before they escalate into major problems. This can prevent unexpected breakdowns, ensuring your heating system is reliable when you need it the most.
Protects you from dangerous faults
Safety is paramount when it comes to boiler servicing. Our qualified engineers will check for any potential gas leaks, carbon monoxide leaks, or other hazards that could compromise your well-being.
Keeps your boiler is running efficiently
Over time, boilers can accumulate dirt, debris, and scale that hinder their efficiency. A thorough cleaning during servicing can improve the boiler's performance, resulting in better heat output and reduced energy consumption.
Essential for retaining your warranty
Many boiler warranties require regular servicing to remain valid. Skipping servicing could void your warranty, leaving you responsible for the costs of repairs or replacements.

Boost The Efficiency of Your Radiators
Before Powerflushing
Dirt, sludge, rust and debris has piled up inside the radiator’s pipes. This is causing cold spots on the radiator where the hot water cannot reach. A heavily sludged heating system can increase your bills by as much as 25%.After Powerflushing
Once the dirt is removed, the hot water can flow freely through the radiator. This helps to maximise the efficiency of your central heating system, keeping your home warmer for less.Ready to Book a Powerflush?
London’s Renewable Heating Experts
Solar Thermal Panels
A typical, well sized solar system should provide around up to 70% of the domestic hot water requirements of a home, representing a very worthwhile saving on hot water heating costs. Any remaining hot water requirement is provided by the boiler when needed.
Solar panels harness the power in both direct and diffused (or sunny and cloudy) sunlight and convert the energy to heat which produces hot water for the home. The solar panels have been designed as a complement to existing heating systems which use a store of hot water in a cylinder, or tank. The existing cylinder is exchanged for a cylinder with two heat exchanger coils; one from the boiler in the property and a second from the solar panels.
The Worcester Greenskies solar panels are a perfect partner to the new range of condensing Greenstar regular and system boilers, with different models available in both oil and gas, which require a separate cylinder for the storage of hot water. When used together a Greenstar boiler and solar system provide a highly efficient system to give heating and hot water comfort.
Air to Air Heat Pumps
Air-to-air heat pumps are innovative heating and cooling systems that harness the ambient air's thermal energy to regulate indoor temperatures. Operating on a principle similar to air conditioning, these heat pumps reverse their function to provide both heating and cooling capabilities. During colder periods, the heat pump extracts heat from the outdoor air and transfers it indoors, effectively warming the indoor environment.
Conversely, in warmer months, the process is reversed to expel heat from inside, creating a cooling effect. Air-to-air heat pumps offer energy-efficient solutions, as they move heat rather than generating it directly. This makes them environmentally friendly and cost-effective alternatives to traditional heating and cooling systems, contributing to both comfort and sustainability in various residential and commercial settings.
Air to Water Heat Pumps
Air-to-water heat pumps are a type of heating system that extracts heat from the outside air and transfers it to a water-based heating distribution system. They operate on the same principles as air-conditioning systems but are designed to work in reverse to provide heating rather than cooling.
The heated water produced by the heat pump can be used for various heating purposes, including radiant floor heating, radiators, and even for supplying hot water for domestic use.
Before deciding on an air-to-water heat pump system, it's important to perform a detailed analysis of your specific heating needs, the local climate, available space, and budget. By talking with the Eco Gas team, we can help you determine if an air-to-water heat pump is a suitable choice for your heating requirements.
